We stream our meetings via Zoom for those who are unable to be with us in person. If you’d like to join this way click here at 10:25 every Sunday to get connected. Please note that if we don’t recognise your name someone will ask you privately via Zoom’s chat feature to introduce yourself (just say how you found out about our meeting).

Our Young People

Kids@RCM & Youth@RCM

We welcome families and children of any age, there is a creche area and an activity table in the main gathering available each week. If your children want, they have their own groups leaving the main gathering at about 11am.

All our childrens work is compliant with relevant safeguarding regulations.

Midweek Communities

Here at River Church Marlow as well as gathering on Sunday mornings we also gather midweek in smaller groups or communities.

We do this to dig into our mission of, Loving God – Loving Others – Bringing Hope

Sometimes groups will have a theme or particular purpose – for example Alpha, Kintsugi Hope, Nature Walking…

Mostly our Midweek Communities gather to simply Do life together.

Midweek Communities are led by one or two people, meet in each other’s homes or online. Each group finds its own rhythm for gathering, weekly, fortnightly, monthly evening or daytime for a couple of hours. Many share food together.

Midweek communities give space to share spiritual life deeply with others. Working out how we love God, love others and bring hope.

We prefer questions to answers.

Loving God

Together we want to get to know God better – ask tricky questions, wrestle with all life throws at us.

Typically, we do this through developing Holy Habits or Spiritual Practices such as prayer, reading, debating, discussing and understanding more about God through the Bible and especially the life and teachings of Jesus.

Meeting and sharing together in a safe, confidential, honest, spiritual space can be
profoundly transforming.

Loving Others

We love to serve each other, our families, friends and spaces where we live and work. We love to encourage each other creatively and prayerfully as we do this. This might involve setting up a meal rota for someone in need, praying regularly for each other or joining a local community litter pick.

Bringing Hope

We passionately believe that the way of Jesus has much to say to how we live life today. Midweek communities explore this in depth and love to share stories of how our lives have changed through following Christ. If you would like to be part of a midweek community, please talk to Anthea Wratten or Emanuel Prinz.
